At Kings Norton Nursery School, our aim is "To value children as individuals, promote their confidence, and their excitement in learning."
We offer early years provision for children of 2 to 4 years, ahead of their admission to Primary School. We provide a safe and exciting environment in which all children are encouraged and supported to explore and learn. We believe that young children learn most effectively through play and active learning and provide the ideal environment to enable them to do this. We offer educational experiences which develop their confidence, independence, and competence.
We are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all our pupils, staff, parents and carers. Our staff foster strong relationships with our children and families which are strengthened by the wealth of activities and workshops offered to families throughout the year.
Kings Norton Nursery School opened on this site in 1958. Since then it has been providing high quality, early childhood education for the Kings Norton Community. We offer an inclusive and safe child-led learning experience, strong family partnerships, and outstanding outcomes for all children. We have been awarded the Ofsted 'Outstanding' grade for our last five inspections, the most recent of which was completed in October 2023.
Feel free to contact Miss Ruth Horton or Mrs Jasmine Fennell in the School Office for more information and to arrange a visit on 0121 675 3993.
